You are a rat. The diner is a city, the pipes are your highways, and the lounge under the street is home.
Stools are towers, the counter is a cliff, the swing doors are a canyon. Scurry the kitchen, the dining room and the restroom at rat scale and grab every snack you can carry.
The fastest way home is down. Leap into the bowl, drop through the shaft into the pipes and ride them to the lounge. A green pad at the bottom whooshes you back up and out.
Drop food on the tray in your brick cistern under the street. Every delivery earns a new piece of decor, a new friend, and points on the big scoreboard.
Squeeze through cracks in the walls into crawlspaces, climb up to floor vents, slide down to the falls, follow the storm pipe to the grate. Signs point the way.
Off the lounge: toss berries through a hoop, walk the light floor's sequence back in order, ring the bell, and climb the ledge for the cheese up top.
Hold the left trigger to run at full tilt. Push into a wall and climb it, horizon level, the way a rat does.
A KEEP OUT hole in the kitchen wall leads to a long red-lit lair. Black rats with glowing eyes patrol it. Steal their cheese and run; if one catches you, the cheese goes back.
Time your run past the swinging clubs. Two side rooms hide whack-a-mole cabinets: bonk the moles with your paw and rack up the counter.
At the far end of the lair a golden cheese sits on a pedestal, guarded by the boss. Ten cheeses stacked at home and you are the Cheese Champion: the party starts.
Climbing raises you straight up with the horizon level. The world never rotates under you.
45° snap turn, never smooth rotation.
Walk on the stick, hold the left trigger to scurry. Nothing moves you except the toilet lift and the trip back home.
Remove the headset and the game freezes behind a calm black shell.
